(Re)Discovering Creativity After Motherhood Workshop
Pt 1: Find Your Spark

DESCRIPTION

You encourage creative magic and self-expression for your kids, but what about for yourself, mama?

The (Re)Discovering Creativity After Motherhood Workshop is for mothers who desire to pursue personal fulfillment through creative hobbies, outlets, and activities, but don’t know where to direct their focus, feel guilty taking the steps to go after their dreams, or cannot logistically figure out how to fit creativity into their already busy lives.

Many of us spend much of our days (and energy) caring for everyone else, not realizing that also allowing space for our creative practices will actually result in us being able to bring our best selves back to motherhood, to our families, to all our relationships, to our work, to every aspect of our lives!

In this soul-focused, interactive workshop, we will explore unpacking our expectations, reconnecting with our inner child, starting an actionable to-do list (that you will actually want to do), and enjoy a hands-on project to get those creative juices flowing!

**Along with enjoying an inspiring morning with your fellow, creatively-minded mamas, participants will receive a copy of The (Re)Discovering Creativity After Motherhood Workbook: A framework of reflections, insights, and actions for maintaining a creative identity while raising a family and an invitation to join the private, online Stay Creative group, for ongoing validation and accountability.**

(The Workbook is available in printed format on Amazon and at Rosemont Wellness Center and as a PDF version on WhosYourMamaMedia.com)

(Re)Discovering Creativity After Motherhood Workshop
Pt 2: Make a Plan. Light the Match.

DESCRIPTION

It’s all well and good to know WHAT you want, mama…but figuring out HOW to make it happen is just as important!

The (Re)Discovering Creativity After Motherhood Workshops (Part 1 and Part 2) are for mothers who desire to pursue personal fulfillment through creative hobbies, outlets, and activities, but don’t know where to direct their focus, feel guilty taking the steps to go after their dreams, or cannot logistically figure out how to fit creativity into their already busy lives.

In Part 1 we collectively unpacked our expectations, reconnected with our inner child, started an actionable to-do list and enjoyed a hands-on project to get those creative juices flowing. Part 2 will take that (re)discovery and turn it into action steps and forward motion. You’ll arrive with idea(s) and enthusiasm and – through partner brainstorming and group discussion, logistics and resource identification, and some basic project management – leave with a clear vision and solid plan. Think of “Make a Plan. Light the Match” as the nitty-gritty how to the introspective what. Remember, you have very consciously been working up to this point and you are entitled to pursue what lights you up, mama!

What to bring:

• A list of potential (creative or otherwise) hobbies, outlets, and activities that you would like to (re)discover and make continuous and intentional space for in your life. These ideas can be for either a side-passion OR a side-hustle – both paths are valid! Please note: This list is required for Part 2. If you’re still unsure as to what activities you even want to pursue, please attend Part 1 of the Workshop or purchase a copy of the (Re)Discovering Creativity After Workbook (available on Amazon and at Rosemont Wellness Center) and complete the first half.

• Your favorite motivational/inspirational quotes. These will be used in a hands-on (low-key) creative project, so print out a fancy hand-lettered version from the internet to trace. I will also have a variety of print-outs available, in case you want to wait and see what speaks to you.

• Optional: Favorite journal and pen and your planner of choice (otherwise, I will have worksheets and basic daily/weekly/monthly calendar sheets available).

**Along with enjoying a motivating afternoon with your fellow, creatively-minded mamas, participants will receive a PDF version of The (Re)Discovering Creativity After Motherhood Workbook: A framework of reflections, insights, and actions for maintaining a creative identity while raising a family and an invitation to join the private, online Stay Creative group, for ongoing validation and accountability.**
